Cape and Islands Emergency Medical Services System, CIEMSS, serves as the leasion organization between the EMS providers in the Cape Cod area and the area hospital Medical Directors and the Massachucetts Department of Health - Office of Emergency Medical Services.  CIEMSS provides coordinated quality assurance and improvment activites, assistance with regulatory compliance and a varriety of EMS related education and training programs.  Establiched in 1962, CIEMSS has continuouslty been committed to the development of emergency medical care withing the region and continues to this day it's commitment to help provide the best pre-hospital medical care.
