E M S   System

Alden Cook EMT-P, the Deputy Director of Cape & Islands E.M.S. has been associated with the organization since 1978. While completing a 31 year tenure as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Falmouth Fire & Rescue Department, he has served in various volunteer positions at C.I.E.M.S.S.  This has included eight years as President, four years as Vice President, and terms as Secretary/Treasurer, a member of the Board of Directors, and chairing the Executive Committee and the Training & Operations Committee. Alden has been the Director for four years and remains committed to the concept of quality pre-hospital patient care for the citizens of Cape Cod through service to the area Rescue Squads in administration and training.
